Malnutrition is a lack of nutrients such as energy and protein that are necessary to maintain a healthy body. As we age, it is said that even a small trigger can lead to a state of malnutrition.
[Have you experienced any of these?] - Eating less (I don't move around much so I'm not hungry) - Living a vegetable-based lifestyle, I don't like heavy foods - I stopped eating because I got sick - I don't know my weight - The nearby supermarket closed so I have to go far away - I was told to be careful about metabolic syndrome so I'm careful not to overeat →Small things like these can easily lead to malnutrition.

こんにちは!「いきいき元気メール」です。今回は「低栄養って?」についてお知らせします。
低栄養とは、健康な体を維持していくのに必要なエネルギーやたんぱく質などの栄養素が不足していることです。年齢を重ねると、ちょっとしたきっかけで低栄養状態になるといわれています。
【こんなことありませんか?】
・食べる量が減ってきた(あまり動かないからお腹が空かない)
・野菜中心の生活、くどいものは苦手
・病気をきっかけに食べられなくなった
・自分の体重を知らない
・近くのスーパーがなくなり遠くまで行かないといけなくなった
・メタボに気を付けてと言われ、食べすぎに気を付けている
→このような些細なことがきっかけで低栄養状態に陥りやすくなります。
【低栄養の目安】
・半年間で2~3キロの体重減少がある
・BMI(体格指数) 体重(㎏)÷身長(m)÷身長(m)で計算し、出た数字が18.5未満
・血液検査 血清アルブミン値 3.8g/㎗以下
【低栄養予防の大切なポイント】
・1日3食食べましょう(決まった時間に食べると、生活リズムが整います)
・バランスのよい食事(主食・主菜・副菜を揃えましょう)
・たんぱく質を意識した食事(肉・魚・卵・乳製品・大豆を積極的に食べましょう)
・水分をこまめに飲みましょう(季節に関係なく)
